We watched the wind thread needles through the hills,
its whispers bending the blades to its will,
turning air into light, a soft revolution—
the quiet hum of change spun out of chaos.
Below, the salmon surged, silver and unyielding,
their bodies a protest against the current,
each leap a hymn to return, to reclaim,
to remind the rivers of what they once knew.
And in the distance, hands built towers from dreams,
where the tide touched stone and left power behind.
We gathered under these vast, spinning shadows,
a murmuration of hearts beating in rhythm—
our power rising like breath through the leaves,
a planet waiting to bloom again.
Bloodline Currents
The river knows no rest, its pulse unbroken,
a story written in ripples and silt,
where the salmon’s drive carves ancient truths—
movement is power, stillness surrender.
The sea calls them home as they race upstream,
bodies flickering like sparks in the shallows,
a dance of defiance against the fading past,
their power a tether between now and forever.
Here, the water does not ask permission;
it barrels on, carving stone into memory,
washing away what cannot hold its weight.
The salmon leap not for survival alone—
each arc defies the silence of extinction,
each splash a vow to worlds yet unseen.
A Quiet Rebellion
The earth turned slower beneath our feet,
its veins laced with coal, scars of our hunger,
until we learned to hear the wind’s rebellion—
a power drawn from its unyielding voice.
The turbines hum in their solemn chorus,
their blades tracing arcs across a bruised sky,
while beneath, children plant trees with small hands,
rooting hope in soil we thought was lost.
Above, the sun waits, patient and constant,
its rays a map of what we might become.
Even in the deepest shadow, light persists—
a gentle insurgency against decay.
What power lies in small, deliberate acts,
when even whispers can shift the tide?
