Connection stops here, hops
from 4g to 3g to GPRS (one bar
or less) unless you stand on the hill
downwind from the Shetland pony
The sea is low now
and begs you go down to the shore
stop googling cures
for how to write poems
What you want doesn’t matter here
wind and tide will decide
what you can and can’t do
You must pulse, like the moon
cranks the waves
into uneven intervals
and tells you go tidal
fall out of the poem
like a pebble or a pause
